Greetings,

Welcome to the 15th newsletter from Dewfall Productions since my return in August 2005. Time is a funny size. It keeps amazing me how it seems to fly by faster and faster the older you get. It's something I notice particular when browsing tonight's TV-program. Seeing a movie-title I remember from my youth brings me two thoughts. The first one goes "Ah yes, I remember that", and the second one right after goes "What? It's from 1991?? What the…?! Where did those 15 years go?" Suddenly you find yourself having difficulties finding time for the things you like to do, such as experiencing the more bright sides of life (which you definitely have earned).
As you can see I managed to find time for a quick newsletter before Christmas, so I could wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I'll be spending my Christmas with the family, and New Years Eve with the girlfriend, so I'm sure I'll be having some cosy days.

Track release: "Exhale"
All musicians typically have a bunch of unfinished tracks lying around on their harddisc. Exhale is such a track I began composing 18 months ago. Then a week ago I picked it up again, and the result became a short little artistic dance track. It could probably be longer than the 3 minutes and 40 seconds, but I didn't want to risk it got abandoned on the harddisc again, so here it is. I hope you like it.

J2ME music
About 2 weeks after the announcement of my new J2ME music section, I received a mail from Sony Ericsson asking me to write a tutorial on game-music creation for their developer sites, and supply 7 MIDI tracks to be included in the package. It took about a week to agree on a price and conditions, and I've been working on it since. Writing such a tutorial requires a lot of time.
Getting a reference as the author from the Sony Ericsson developer sites is an unexpected good start for my J2ME music section. At the same time the tutorial will also promote LuBlu Entertainment because Sort'em is used as a CASE study, so things couldn't be much better in this department.

Other news
"Fading Shades" gets a little attention every weekend. Development has never stopped, but progress is slow. We're not rushing it, and it'll be done when it's done. Currently we're almost done with the basic game, and will begin adding music and sound-effects soon.

That's it for now. I hope you'll have a nice Christmas and a cosy (or blasting if preferred) New Years Eve.
