Greetings,
The summer is over soon, and it's been a rainy one this year in Denmark. Meteorologists say that it hasn't rained this much in August the last 44 years, so it's been pretty wet as you can imagine. This hasn't had any influence on how much time I've spent indoors in front of Skale Tracker though, but other things have had their influence on this matter.
I haven't told you about the disaster at my previous work yet. I might do a track about it sometime in the future, but for now, the long story short is that the greed, selfishness and incompetence of certain co-workers combined with poor management messed me up, leaving me in a state unable to handle a normal fulltime job. The union wanted to sue, but I didn't think that would be fair to the good co-workers and friends I had at the company. Also, I'd rather just concentrate on getting back on my feet.
Anyway, it was when I stopped working there I began composing again, giving you quite a few releases within a short period of time. But now I'm slowly beginning to work again. For the past 3 months I've been working as an intern for a company here in Hobro 4 hours a day, developing a flexible Content Management System. I'm quite proud of the result so far. If all goes well I'll be hired to manage the system-development-area of the company, and that would be a good thing. It might be the way for me to get back on track, so wish me luck.
Now here comes the bad news. Because of the work, you will probably notice longer breaks between my releases from now on. I don't think I'll completely stop composing like last time (partly because I now have a girlfriend who won't let me), but I have to make this job first priority.
Speaking of the girlfriend, she has also become a very big part of my life. Had you told me a year ago that a perfect match like her existed I would have laughed. The probability of finding such a match simply isn't there, yet we found each other anyway. I won't go into details about the unrealistically high number of things we have in common, because my webhotel provider only offers a certain amount of space. I'll just say that she also takes a lot of my time. Lucky for you though, being the creative type herself she encourages me to compose new tracks.
And speaking of new tracks, here's one for you now. :-)
Track release: "Too many assumptions"
Over the years I have found, that one of the most difficult things for some people is to understand that not everyone thinks the same way they do. They insist that everyone thinks like they do, because anything else just seems impossible to them. They simply cannot grasp the fact that other people have other priorities, other goals and other needs than themselves. I find that both funny and sad. Funny when I look at people so persistently claiming facts about other people. Sad when I see the consequence of such claims.
Having been a victim often myself, this narrow sighted behaviour of people inspired me to track this piece. Read more...
Other news
In my last newsletter I wrote about "Sort'em", a game for mobile phones developed by LuBlu Entertainment (the girlfriend and I). Status on that now is that we have signed a distribution contract with 2 companies for worldwide nonexclusive distribution of Sort'em, so it's pretty exciting to see what this results in.
