Greetings,
It's been almost 7 months since my last release. My music has been on hold for a while due to another interesting project I've been working on with BlueAngel. This project is completed now, which means my creativity is focussed on the music again. I'm sure you're curious about what project could have been so interesting to keep me away from my music? I will tell you, but first I'm happy to present you with a new track release for you to enjoy this summer.
Track release: "Transform"
It was difficult finding a title for this track. I eventually came up with "Transform" because it suits the track in more than one way. It is actually a coop. It was started by Anders Bergmann (the dude who plays the guitar in "A night in town") years ago, but abandoned as a noisy 8-bit XM module. I decided to pick it up, dust it off, clean it out, boost it a bit and add some of my own style. The result is a 2-part piece: Beginning with Anders' electric guitar style, and ending with my electric piano style.
LuBlu Entertainment present: "Sort'em"
One of my more pleasant memories of my childhood is the many hours I spent in front of my Amstrad CPC464. I enjoyed coding small useless programs and games in BASIC very much. But since those days I haven't really coded anything like that again. My coding skills have been used for system development in the administration area, rather than game design in the entertainment area, but I have thought about creating a little game for a long time.
BlueAngel and I slowly began working on a little game for mobile phones back in march, and implementation is complete now. Together we have formed LuBlu Entertainment, and we hereby invite you to visit www.lublu.dk and take a look at our first creation. :-)
We will take a break from the game production for now. We do have an idea for another mobile game waiting to be put to life, and we also hope to find time for "Fading Shades" at some point, but currently there are too many other things that require our attention.
Nicklas Nygren presents: "Within a Deep Forest"
I don’t want to turn my newsletter into a games-review-letter, but since we're already on the subject of games, I would like to promote a cute little freeware game for your Windows system called "Within a Deep Forest". Coded by Nicklas Nygren, and stuffed with really nice ambient music composed by various musicians from the CTG Music Community. If you like games where you have to use your mind and reflexes, while exploring intriguing level-maps with atmospheric simple cute graphics, you will definitely like this game. Download here (20 mb).
Thanks
I also want to say thanks to all the people who have written me. It is really nice to know my music is appreciated out there. Don't hesitate to write a short note with positive feedback if you like my music. (Don't ever hesitate to tell anyone you like their work, if you like their work).
I hope you'll enjoy the new track. Feedback is as always mostly welcome.
